(And she had [a]men lying in wait with her in the chamber) Then she said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he brake the cords, as a thread of tow is broken, when [b]it feeleth fire: so his strength was not known.

10 ¶ After Delilah said unto Samson, See, thou hast mocked me, and told me lies. I pray thee now, [c]tell me wherewith thou mightest be bound.

11 Then he answered her, If they bind me with new ropes that never were occupied, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.
